Johnson Creek Home + Studio

In pursuit of a new home closer to their community, the homeowners envisioned a thoughtfully designed custom home that included a studio workshop, an apartment, a two-car garage, all while prioritizing energy-efficiency and resiliency.

Among the most exciting features are a connecting arbor that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces, a reclaimed hemlock wall flowing through the foyer, vaulted wood ceilings, and large sliding doors opening to a shared courtyard. The exterior includes a standing seam metal roof, solar panels and traditional stucco. A custom steel and oak balustrade, and wood ceilings contribute to an inviting atmosphere, perfect for gatherings and indoor-outdoor living.

This project embodies a holistic approach to building a custom, sustainable home, emphasizing close collaboration between clients, designer, and our team.
